A hole in my boot..

I will miss my rose wellington boots... 

Wellington + hole = wet socks + toes = New wellingtons! 

They have served me well in the bijou plot and through puddles (sigh) lots of puddles.

 They will not be given the boot but rather they shall have some spring/summer stems planted in them.
Any ideas?
